Brandon Gritters lead a strong field or riders at the Ventura Stage Race to secure a top-10 finish. Brandon was second in the prologue by only 1.7 seconds. In the difficult crit, Aron Gadhia came in 6th and Brandon in 9th. The circuit race in Ojai was plagued by extreme heat and lots of attrition. Many of the riders ended up helping out in the feed zone. After an early break attempt by Anthony Aker, Neil Shirley and Roman Kilun caught and passed him and were gone for good. Brandon finished the circuit race in 12th place, good enough for 8th place overall. Other overall finishers were:
