2009 Kahala La Grange racer, Erika Graves, will be leaving us to race for VanderKitten Racing in 2010. She will be racing around the country against some of the toughest women on one of the most popular womens teams. Erika had many good results for us throughout the year, and she will be missed.

The rest of the team were heading up To the Cascade Classic on Bend, Oregon. The race started out mellow as usual, with a few breaks by Webcor and Colavita. Elite Men at Manhattan Beach

Raul Frias

Gustavo Mendez

Adam Livingston

Jorge Alvarado

Brandon Gritters

The La Grange elite team were generally unhappy with their results from this race. Although they were in just about every break during the race, things just didn't work out in the end. Raul Frias was the top finisher in 22nd, after a 7th place in an earlier race. The La Grange team got mentioned in Velonews' coverage and are included some photos too..

Karen Meske

Beatriz Rodriguez also had a top 10 (9th)

Amy Hutner

Anna Drakulich

Melinda Weiner

Kathryn Donovan

Morgan Kapp

It was a special treat at Manhattan Beach when the entire Women's team showed up to race. Several riders attempted breaks but it all came down to a sprint finish, which was won by former La Granger, Coryn Rivera. Amy Hutner had a little crash on the last lap. She bruised her shin but she still managed to finish with a smile.
